I've been trying to get video calling to work over either Ekiga or 2Talk but haven't had much luck. The app of choice seems to be SIPDroid but it refuses to connect at all over 2Talk and gives me audio only via Ekiga.

Vippie supposedly supports the right video codecs (h.263 & h.264) but it doesn't support dialing off-network SIP addresses (which is a bit poor).

I've got all the codecs enabled in my 2Talk settings so that _should_ be ok.

Ideally I'm trying to get my Galaxy Tab to be able to dial in to our Tandberg system. I can get it working fine audio-only using the native SIP support in Android 2.3, but I've yet to have any joy with video.

Has anyone had any success with SIP video & Android?

I managed to get my iTalk (Slingshot) VoIP line working on my HTC Desire ages ago. I'll see how I go with getting iTalk to work on my Acer Iconia tonight/tomorrow and will report back!

Download "SIPDroid" from the marketplace and enter your details in that.

"CSipSimple" may be a better alternative if you've no intent of trying to get video support working as the interface is much nicer.
