Hi All,

Recently I was fooling around with the data settings on my Motorola Defy, on Voda, running Android 2.1 (patiently waiting for the upgrade) with Launcher Pro over the top of Motoblur and my calander 'lost' all of my entries bar one.

Testing so far has shown the following:

All the entries are still in my gmail calendar.

Repeated syncing does not bring all my events back.

Switching the background data or data saver or data delivery options on or off has no effect.

Events entered into the phone remain and events entered into my gmail calendar do sync correctly.

Removing the calendar from the 'my calendars' list and adding it again does nothing.

Removing my gmail account will return my phone to factory settings and that would be more of a pain than re-entering my entries into my gmail calendar and re-syncing.

As usual I get the feeling I am missing something obvious.

Any thoughts?

I always amazes me hope helpful and good natured discourse is on these boards, if more forums were like this I would spend more time online.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

I 'solved' this by going through my calendar, making a change to the entries, saving and syncing again.

A bit of a pain but things are back the way they ought to be.

Any idea / wild speculation on how this happened is welcome.
