scoobydoo: Hi there - first time poster. I've just ordered one of these phones through an importer but I was told that it wouldn't work on Telecom / XT. Do they come in different models, with different specs so to be able to run on different carriers? I was going to sign it up to Vodafone, I don't know what the XT smart phone plans are like?
I'm new to Android and smartphones altogether so this will be quite a good discussion for me to learn how to use my phone to the best of it's ability. I expect it to arrive by the end of this week.. can't wait!

scoobydoo: Well yeah it looks like it won't support XT, but that's fine. It seems to me that the VFNZ plans are better suited to my financial and data needs more than XT anyway, so all good.
I'm hoping that the info contained in this discussion can also be applied to mine, except for any carrier-related things of course!

Kopkiwi: Would love to know the pricing on a plan for this phone. It's between this and the S2, if I can't sell my Desire before the end of June (when Vodafones S2 deal expires) then if Telecoms deal is good, I might just be swayed...
