I am using Nosense v1.0 and am having issues with my sensation randomly shutting down every so often; on average once a day.
It was doing it on Android Revolution rom too; I didnt have these issues before I rooted my phone.
Could it be the radio? I am using stock.

thanks

BadCam:
Pulinski: So where do I fins the latest clockwork mod v7? I have looked for it and cannot seem to find it.

Also can I use ROM Manager? Is it recommended?

I second that. I'm using 4.0.1.4, because of the battery charge issue. But, as I mentioned in the XDA forum, whenever I recover an existing ROM setup, I never get the Notification bar back. Perhaps that new CWM has fixed both issues?

Loving NoSense V1.0 BTW.

I updated 3-4 days ago to 5.0.2.0 using rom manager... no issues yet.

I haven't changed my radio, my phone is rooted, have changed roms about 5 times and I have no issues...

Did you do a complete wipe between Revolution and NoSense?

Not sure if this has been asked before - sorry, I'm at work and couldn't justify reading all 67 pages of the thread!

I am seriously looking at getting this phone.  I was looking at the Wildfire S but as it's only half the phone the Sensation is (processor speed, memory, etc.) I though I might find myself wanting to upgrade sooner than the wife would like!

My question is: The Telecom website says the Sensation is Microsoft Office compatible.  Is it, really?  There isn't a Microsoft Office for Android, is there?  Or is is "similar" apps like QuickOffice or Documents to Go?  or is it just an error on the Telecom phone spec.s?

I apologize if this has been asked already, but does anyone know where I can find the RUU for the Telecom NZ branded Sensation (or which one it is, as I've found a few on XDA-Developers)? Unfortunately I'm having an ugly experience with a custom ROM and am keen to revert to stock ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

It's not Microsoft Office, but comes with an app called Polaris Office that allows viewing and editing of the common Microsoft formats. I have opened Office 2007 Word and Excel files with no trouble. I haven't tried Office 2010 yet though.

My sensation just reset again; I thought maybe if I underclocked it a tiny bit that might help but nope; it rebooted before my very eyes and would not get past the 'Android' screen on nosense.

I have an error log app running so hopefully that will help me get to the bottom of this annoyance; I just hope it is the battery and not something else.

I have been getting random reboots which then gets caught in boot cycle and requires a battery pull. It has been happening since flashing 7.2 P3D. I am thinking it has to do with the 2.3.5 kernel but I am not too knowledgeable in roms and kernels. It happens about once a day. Next ROM I flash I well try flashing stock kernel before doing full wipe. If anyone knows of any fixes I would be grateful for details or link.

Just having one glitch since S-OFF and ROOT.

Every morning after having the Sensation on the Charge overnight and in Airplane mode I wake to my alarm and HTC Sense has crashed and I have to Force Close it.

Still on Stock ROM. CWM 5.0.2.0

Any thoughts?
