Hi Guys.
I thought, since I am getting good at this ROM stuff now, I would check out another ROM I came across on the site http://www.htcsensationroms.com/
Its called "mEMBER's Choice" [sic] and its really nice and stable. even better it has the proper android 4.1.2 camera with the new zoom and panorama features...also the feature that lets you create like a 360deg image - hard to explain. I dont know what its called :-)
Better still for me, I dont get the corrupt preview image when using the camera in portrait.
So far so goo for me :-)

Well I just received my replacement power supply for the N7. But it was somewhat confusing since without any communication warning me a package arrived from firstin.co.nz with my address on it but a lady's name as the addressee. Sure I had not ordered from firstin I called them. They said I should open up the package.

I did so, found a Migear USB power supply and car cigrette letter and printouts of emails circulating around The Warehouse saying please send the customer a charger and inform them. They didn't.

So it's all well in the end with my not only getting a working charger but also a car power adapter.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Day before new years eve I thought I'd take the leap and do some rooting Bloody hell, the rooting was the easy! S-off was a mission but got there in the end. Loving the stock android JB from bruce over XDA.

Any one else got any more tips with Google Now? Seems handy but even though I've got all the settings right (at least I think I have), no cards stay. I search the hell out of it so it wouldn't be that. The old ladies N7 works sweet but I can't even get the weather card to stay put even though I've searched the weather about 5+ times so far.

Also, for anyone who's had a play with bruce's rom, can you not swipe up from the dock to open Google Now? That was always handy for searching on the N7.

Well I'm a bit of a dick! I'm thinking I haven't rebooted the phone since flashing since last night I let the battery died and when I turned it back on, everything was working fine.

Thanks mate, I thought it must have been something simple since no one was really having a problem (just setup incorrectly).

Out of interest, what does everyone use to flash their ROMS? I've got Rom Manager but that's only because it was the first I stumbled across when I was rooting.

In fact, what does everyone use to restore all their apps and settings between ROMs? I don't have anything at the mo' and it'll be a bit dumb to try all these ROMs and reinstall/setup apps every time.
