Ok, so I reformatted my SD card with a ext4 partition so I can store more apps.  I noticed the apps hadn't moved so I went to reflash the dalvik2sd zip and for some reason when I recovery I cannot see zip files when I choose "install zip from sd"
I can see the zips via es or astro and USB.
Tried deleting are reloading them. Also tried downloading direct on the phone. No joy.
I'm now stumped!

HTH.

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner. HTC Sensation has gone to its new
owner. Galaxy S3 has gone to its new owner. Now using Galaxy Note 3. Skipping Note 4 I think...

Ok so I wiped the card and reformatted in ext4 again and same thing.
So did it again in EXT3 and can see zips again.
Very weird.

Now I just have to remember what method I had used to send apps and dalvik to sd!
