Anyone have the original u8150 update.app for an 8150 and want to upload it somewhere? Have made an almighty mess of my phone trying to cook a lean rom from Ideos HD and messed up the updater script. Tried to restore backup and everything force closes, same thing happens if I put standard ideos HD rom back onto it. Hopefully a clean restore with ideos default rom will set things right and I can have a usable phone again.

For the whole rom that came with the phone this is the one you want (I think): V100R001C183B825 (New Zealand 2degress) - 30.11.2010 - 97,2 MB

You used to be able to get it from Huawei's site but they have changed their site and the old links don't work anymore.

A Google search found this:

You wonderful man, Gentleman and scholar, thanks very much. I recognise the uploader from XDA so hopefully it should be ok. finally got it working by installing leandroid and then downloading ideosHD and installing it again. Think my kitchen is broken as it seems to not make anything bootable.
