Downloaded Sygic GSP Navigation onto my HTC Desire 2.2. If I set the Voice option to TTS English all I hear is some "gobbledegook" apart from the words "dollar" and  "hash" when it tries to pronounce street names. It works fine on just English except it doesn't give you street names.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

I think this is a known issue with Aussie/NZ Maps that they are working on but they (Sygic) don't comunicate well if at all
which is a pity as it is a could be great piece  of kit
Cheers Pete

Ok cheers for that Pete.

I have posted this on the Sygic forum so hopefully Sygic might do something about it.

I have heard back from the Sygic team on their support forum - they say they have fixed the problem and an update will be released "most probably this week".  Fingers crossed !
