caitlinjn: I ordered it from a seller in Taiwan on eBay - I paid 450 pounds including shipping ($830NZ... Which I figure is similar to what they will be charging for it here anyway) and it arrived 5 working days after I ordered it :)

Was the eBay Prime vendor funnyBom? cause I can't get an option for him/her to ship to me here in NZ? Few USA vendors but price more than $830NZ.... I am wary of a G S T import bill but it shouldn't incur an import duty according to customs website, might risk it. Did you get the Champagne Gold one?

Yupp, funnybom was the name of the company. I got 32GB champagne gold... It's soooo prettttyy :D currently upgrading to ICS

Just thought I'd post and say I'm now fully acquainted with my transformer prime :) it really is a very beautiful tablet.
The battery life is amazing, too! I initially charged it for 6 hours, then had a play on it while it was still plugged in, then left it on the charger for another 12 hours. That was 3 days ago, I've been on it pretty much constantly since then, and I'm only just having to charge it again now - it lasted nearly 15 hours of usage time, just doing standard things like email, Facebook, bit of YouTube, etc.
I'm typing this using the on-screen swiping keyboard, which can be a bit hit and miss but is still pretty good.
Biggest issue is apps - it can be difficult to tell which ones are compatible with tablets, but there are quite a few good ones out there once you find them

Get Tablified from the Market caitlinjn, it's an app with a tablet-only Market in it :)

A must for all Android tablet owners, since Google doesn't appear at all interested in making the Market easier to negotiate from tablets...

Well just got the email from Clove, no primes until Late February March. They don't really say what the delay is, just that they will get some stock but not enough. Am about ready to give up on the prime and all these delays.

I pre-ordered the 64GB grey model 28/11 from B&H. It shipped a couple of days ago, looks like its made it to Honolulu so not long to wait now...

B&H are one of the biggest electronics stores on the planet, they'll get stock before most other places. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff from them, and returned the odd thing, service has always been good.

I'd hit the "notify when in stock" button there and you'll probably get it relatively soon. Link here to the black 32GB version. Given you can put a micro SD card in I see little need for the 64GB version at $100 more.

Still waiting for my 32GB grey from B&H that I ordered in November. Talked to them late last week and they said they now expect stock in early Feb.

If it wasn't for the lack of 3G, this tablet would be almost perfect!

I think the TF700 is the one to wait for... probable 3G, not to mention a 1920 x 1200 screen.
Awesome sauce!

Got my 32gb champagne gold Prime today from eBay/Save-on-retail ordered 14Jan. NZ$840 all up. Sensible package labeling got it to me within the supplier's delivery window without any extra costs :-). It upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich as soon as I hooked it up to wifi. My 1st tablet & I am LOVING it.

Has anyone here received a keyboard dock for their Transformer Prime yet? I see (as others have mentioned here) that the tablet+keyboard bundle listed on Clove has been delayed to Feb/March.
Interested to find if anyone has found somewhere to buy them now.

kind regards Andrew TD

The Prime+Dock arrived today from B&H - pre-ordered on 28/11

I don't have a US adaptor to charge it with but assumed I could charge it, albeit slowly, from a USB port... so far no luck.

Can any owners advise if you can charge the prime from a USB port?

Very, very, very slowly is what i've read. 2-3% per hour. Get yourself a US to NZ plug adapter from Dick Smith or Harvey Norman for about $10, assuming it can take 230V - which almost all can. My Transformer v1 came with a charger that has adapters for most major countries, but in the US they don't really know there are other countries.

To quote the user manual "TF201 can be charged via usb port on the computer only when it is in sleep mode (screen off) or powered off." and yes it will be slow as Asus adapter is 15v, 1.2a vs. rest of my USB wall plugs which are 5v, 1a. In fact I was disappointed it would not charge at all....even slowly from my USB wall plugs.

Maybe a USB 3.0 port may charge quicker? I'm not sure if the port delivers more voltage, and have no idea if it will charge faster, I know that I need a USB 3.0 cord to extend my TF101 charging cord as a USB 2.0 cord doesn't work.

I have native USB 3.0 but those who don't who may wish to try can purchase a PCI-E add-on card with two ports for not too much..
eg. http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=592964

Also, has anyone tried any other wall type USB charger, you know the type where any USB can be plugged into it?
eg. http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/ipod-mp3-accessories/chargers/wall-chargers/auction-442779277.htm

Sorry if not much help, just food for thought.
