No updates via the Samsung update option on the handset yet.

Will this be released via 2degrees or is it checking the Samsung servers directly?

Can someone on the new LFB firmware confirm for me whether inserting a headphone plug still brings up the menu in the notification screen with the music player, video player short cuts?  The new WanamLite ROM doesn't seem to do this any longer. . . .

Hi There!

Ok is there a tech support number for these wretched phones. I am AGAIN having WIFI Issues.

This morning I wasn't connected via wifi, I restarted my phone, still not. Toggled WiFi on and off, bingo, connected. This is seriously starting to piss me off.

I'm still having the occasional problem with WiFi too.  Sometimes it will connect but I don't get an IP address so it doesn't work.  Restarting the router always fixes the problem, restarting the phone sometimes fixes it but not always.  I get this both at home and at work.

There is another very well known WiFi problem that affects Android where your phone gets in a loop and says "Obtaining IP address" then "IP address unavailable" and it keeps looping around.  But my problem isn't this.

On my galaxy nexus with vodafone broadband complete  modem I had that problem occasionally.  Especially if I went out shopping and when come back it wouldnt connect.  I would reboot the modem and all was fine till next time.
Since getting my vodafone galaxy s3, I have never had a problem connecting.  I am very pleased with wifi connection on the S3.

I am stock, I have been thinking about a change to custom ROM but one of my staff has a white GS3 which works flawlessly.

So the exploding S3 that the guy overseas was accusing/getting ready to sue Samsung about was from the guy putting it in a microwave. He removed all accusations towards Samsung.
Funny fella.
