Any particular feature you're after from the International ROM? Apart from maybe getting updates quicker, it's not going to offer you anything more then the 2 Degrees one. If you're going to the trouble of flashing another ROM, I'd go with a custom one like Wannamlite etc. Have a nose around the XDA forums to see if anything takes ya fancy

My dad has been complaining that after he reads emails on his s3 they just randomly disappear from the inbox after a short period of time even though he hasn't deleted them. He still has an xtra address so it is set up with their pop3 server. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Are you sure it's not Imap and he is collecting with pop3 on another device such as a PC?

Thanks for the idea but its definitely not imap, I didn't think xtra supported imap. I used his phone earlier to read a couple of emails, they were sitting in the inbox unread but half an hour later when I looked there was a new unread one and the read ones were gone.

He is checking on his pc as well, will they not just stay on both devices?

I've had a dig around the settings etc, but I've got no real experience with android so I may be missing something.

Should be a setting somewhere that says "leave emails on server" or similar. I thought whatever client downloaded emails first updated the other clients. Does the PC client have auto send and receive? Might test with my own xtra email.

I think you would have to have been living under a rock to not have heard.

When you setup the account it has the leave mail on server and when deleted from inbox for deletion from the server.

Does the Yahoo mail app support the xtra mail account since its hosted on Yahoo servers?

I would have thought somebody would have come up with a back plate with a small sliding door to access the memory card.
