Question will be be $0 on a 2 year contract.

I can't see mobile plans dropping any time soon, at $100 what you already get is such good value. I imagine though that it's going to be mobile data inclusions which increase over time.

lokhor:
vinnieg: Have just got off the phone with Warehouse Stationery at Wellingotn, they said the $949 is only available if you pay before the release date. So might pop in tomorrow and pay for a blue one.

Anyone know if the Flip cases will be released in NZ? Otherwise might have to follow the rest and get one from Clove

When i went in they were clueless and wouldn't let me pay

Yeah, they told me they hadn't heard about it, then 15 minutes later I get a phone call...oh yeah actually we do know about it, pop in and pay first

Rang Harvey Norman Tory as well.  They were worse, didn't even know it was coming out, or if any accessories were coming for it.  Gave up on them

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

My local Warehouse Stationary (Kilbirne, Wellington) let me pre order and told me to pay when I pick it up. I'm pretty stoked. They locked the price at 949 for me which is great.

On a side note, as I cannot post in Offers and Wanted yet, some shameless self promotion that I am probably not allowed to do.

FS Galaxy S2, 2 months old, case and spare extedended battery. $1 reserve.

Hopefully Warehouse Stationary give me my S3 on release day or im going to be without a phone for awhile.

Good spotting. I have contacted him now. If any other geekzone memebers are interested I can do $570 in the next couple of days.

Can't wait until I get my S3. It should be sweet.

Mine is as good as new and comes rooted with CM9 (all the hard work already done), a second 2000 mah battery worth $50 that is only 1 week old and a case.

Anyway. Back to the point. S3. yey!

I'm not getting White anymore, I'm going for Blue. Wife reckons it's more manly and she wants the White iPhone 5

wow what a lot to read through for one day, can't help thinking that some are being a bit OTT given its not even released yet but its entertaining none the less.

As another said its very much like when the 4S was being released but funnier given that after another month hype will be over, bet the Samsung marketing people are backslapping themselves over the reactions.

I'll get one but will wait as a month or 2 won't make much difference and I do like the S@, besides take a wee while before some stable custom roms hit the forums.

Exactly what I was thinking - except the hype died out a couple days after its launch. Saying that I'm going to get my hands on one first. I don't see myself selling the One X once I'm done with the TelecomTech stuff however

Sent my One X vs GS3 comparison preview/article thing off ages ago, still isn't up... A lot of changes I'd make to it if I wrote it today tbh

That's a contradiction in terms isn't it? Wink

I'm still reserving judgement until I see the blue for real.
