P1n3apqlExpr3ss:   I don't see myself selling the One X once I'm done with the TelecomTech stuff however

Same, I'll be keeping mine, but retiring the Galaxy S2, and S I think

Really like the One-X, apart from the slowness in updates from Telecom, and the occasional lag

Friend apparently got to play with one at a business hub store last Friday.
Can't be too long until stock in retail stores?

JohnR is most likely using them as beer coasters.

Rudder: My local Warehouse Stationary (Kilbirne, Wellington) let me pre order and told me to pay when I pick it up. I'm pretty stoked. They locked the price at 949 for me which is great.

After I got home from pre ordering yesterday I jumped back on the forum to check about payment and I was so sure you had to prepay I went back in. They again insisted I didn't need to pay until pickup so I went home again.
Today I get a call from the store manager. Apparently one of the higher ups in Warehouse Stationary is either a geekzone member or was browsing this thread. Now I have to go in and pay today.

Not a huge issue but I wish it had been sorted in one trip instead of 3.

For some reason that one is a dual core rather than a quad core?

It's a dual core Snapdragon S4 as its the only chip that supports LTE at the moment.

If I go in to WHS again what should I say for them to let me actually order and pay for it?

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

Insist on paying. Tell them to ring head office and confirm the details.

Better still ring first.

Tell them that you need to pay and they need to confirm the required stock in order for it to be sent to store. They have a limited amount of handsets that will be available and you have to pre order and pay.
Stock seems to be only getting sent to stores that pre order.

I'm confirmed as only the second pre-order in Tory Street, Wellington

Other guy who ordered also chose blue!

Ask them to check the Memo they got on Wednesday afternoon. Thats what the salesman told me Thursday.

Quick confirmation that exFAT support is present as per Supercurio's analysis, regardless of what the user manual tells you for anyone worried about that.
