S3 pre orders currently at 9 million.

How many S2's did they sell so far, anyone know?

So it looks like the S3 is going to scream past that number, mind you it will take 7 months if they can only whack out 5 million a month.

Hate to be a tease, but I've got a pebble-blue device in my hot little hand right now.

It actually looks a lot sexier in person. And it's very strange, but it seems smaller than I thought it would be (But I guess any phone will seem small after using the Galaxy Note for so long). It's a nice size.

And although I've read people comment on the 'cheap' feel of the plastic on the back, it actually feels quite solid to me. The texture of the phone has a metalic sheen quality to it that definitely makes it recognizable.

I was thinking of holding out to see if there will be a Note 2, but now I'm not so sure. I don't know what Vlad was thinking, but this is a gorgeous phone. You guys won't be disappointed!

Have you had a close look at the white one also?  Does it have the same texture?

Haven't had a chance to play with the white one yet. Someone else is playing with it! Taking the blue one home for the weekend, but will have a quick hands on with the white version before I go home tonight and get back to you.

When you say sexier, what do ya mean? Is it a funny blue? i.e. does it suit the screen and the colours of the software? The white highlights the bright contrasts etc, what about the blue one?

Cheers

Umm $200 more for extra 16gb. I rather get the 16gb at $949 and perhaps get 16gb Micro SD card for $20 - $40 max (depend on class I guess).

Anyone know what could be the potential disadvantages having a micro SD versus built in extra storage?

Thank you Smile
