SteveON: Omg 72 pages and no one ones one yet. How about a thread for people when they actually own one?

motorwayne: Pebble Blue Samsung Galaxy S III delayed across the UK

Wow the 29th launch is now slipping to 1st June in UK. Now I'm starting to wonder if Vodafone 31st launch is not going to hit their own foots. May be there are a limited number of galaxy S3 for people who go to the launch night.

The bit I thought was interesting was from VF UK "the blue Galaxy S III is on back-order, with the aim to deliver within 2-4 weeks" no guarantees.

I think the big markets will get served first and then us, we might start with a trickle. Seems weird that they have only just started production for international blue orders....sure I saw that somewhere,

I wonder what is the reason behind the blue delayed? Since they start the production for blue really late then why not stick the 2GB RAM chip inside it lol. I can only dream of 2GB RAM..it can't be the back cover problem or the colour issue. May be Samsung thought people would ordering the white one instead?

I guess we won't be getting our Blue S3 until the end of June at least.

Edit: Whoops, posted a reply without any words in it.

Good call, I ended up going for the white in the end, couldn't wait.

While WHS said mid-June for the blue, that's always just a guess, could be mid-July for all they know.

IntegerIsNumber: I just bought 10x Screen protectors and 1 hard slim case off EBay for S3 :)

Just looking for some cases now, which one did you end up buying ?

Man, there are hundreds on ebay, hard to tell from the photos what they are really like.

The Nillkin Hard Cover Cases look OK.

Yeah, I wanted to buy the Nilkin case but they don't ship to NZ?Cry

Here is the case you're looking for. Nilkin hard case free shipping to NZ.

IntegerIsNumber: The Warehouse in Hamilton East has the Galaxy S3 on display and testing.

Source? ZM Radio just announced it on air.

This is funny, sort of. Warehouse Stationary Hamilton isn't there, it burned down at some stage.

Yeah I have already had too many cases on its way to my address :)
Please tell me how the Nilkin case when you get it. I'll let you know about the sand blasting case and the colourful one. I also got 10x screen protectors as well + the one came with the case.

I think by the time my cases arrived then my Blue S3 might be also get here.

Not really sure why anyone would need 2GB of memory at this stage? What are you running that requires 2GB of memory? I would be surprised if you went NEAR 1GB.

Having more is better than not having enough :) That is my theory.

This is pretty nice looking!

Here we go again. Why do we need a 1080p on a 5" screen? You can't really see the pixel and you will be using more battery and the GPU will work harder to pump the resolution. Laptop isn't even using 1080p through out the entire laptop range yet.

Similar why do I need 2GB RAM? :D
The reason is because it is cool :P
S3!
