Can't wait to receive my S III, let hope it makes it before the end of the week. I pre-ordered from Vodafone on the 25th and received my confirmation email last night saying it would be 1-2 days away. The last year has been great with my Galaxy S, but it is definitely time for change!

So there have been a few comments about finding "manly" covers for the phone, anyone got some suggestions for something more feminine? I will probably end up getting a couple of different covers for different purposes 1) An armband for running/gym etc and 2) Something that I will use in day to day activity to protect it from things like my keys when I chuck it in my bag. Am currently trying to decide between something wallet or pouch styled eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEATHER-PULL-TAB-CASE-COVER-POUCH-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S3-S-III-i9300-/170843052877?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item6d7620241d#ht_860wt_1396 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KLD-Premium-PU-Leather-Card-Flip-Case-Cover-Samsung-i9300-Galaxy-S-3-III-S3-/130703646461?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item6422333ba3#ht_9817wt_1066

I have no response from JB Hifi either. Mine is blue 32GB though :( I bet it doesn't even exist yet. May be still in the factory being assemble.

Just saw an ad on NZ Herald from DSE white 16GB for $949 for release tomorrow, they were pretty quiet up until now not offering pre-orders or anything like that.

having seen both the blue and white this morning next to each other and also the number of scratches blue had taken I am inclined towards the white. It looks good in white. People will have covers for their phones but I am not a big fan of covers.

So the 2degrees email has The Samsung Galaxy S III is yours FREE on a Pay Monthly $89 Plan with a 24 month term ($1049 RRP). I was just looking into early termination fees (as I don't need as expensive plan and will likely not be in NZ for 24months, probably should just buy out right).
"The early termination charge is the amount calculated by multiplying your monthly Plan charge by the
number of months remaining on the term of your Plan as at your final Billing Date, provided that:
for the $89, $129,and $149 Plans the early termination charge shall not exceed $500"

This would essentially mean that I could get the phone on the $89 plan and then terminate plan by paying $500 (I assume you have to pay at least one month so total const $589)

So can anyone think of anything stopping me from signing up to the plan and then exiting the contract (thus getting the phone for essentially the early termination fee)?
