I've just become the owner a Bose Freespace 3 Loudspeaker system (cost me $20) and I have no idea how to get power into it. There's no obvious input for a power cable and the installation guide is in level 4 geek and I'm only level 2. :p

I've googled and found the installation guide and some highly technical stuff that I don't understand. Can anyone help please?

cheers for any info Smile

What sort of info?

The installation guide talks about amplifier output connection. It advises to connect an amplifier output to a single module in a 100v system using a transformer, and 2 other methods including connecting an amplifier output to a single module in a 70v system using the transformer, and connecting an amplifier to daisy-chained modules in a 70v (or 100v) system using the transformer. It then explains Transformer tap setting or bypass for Lower wattage, Mono direct and Stereo direct.

My experience with wiring stereos is that you take the power cable attached to the stereo, and plug it into the wall.

This type of system superimposes the audio down a 70 or 100v line. this is to power th speaker.
