Like a lot of people most of my phone calls are done on my mobile. Whether home or out I use my mobile. I did get a "VoIP" device and number, and it comes up on my mobile so I can call on my VoIP line or mobile. I find that for some reason or other, (that I am not prepared to waste any more time on) 5 times out of 10 the VoIP line doesn’t connect. So I use the mobile. I pay $19 a month to 2degrees for a "pack" that does the trick for my needs. If I want to make an international call I use Skype. Ok so now bear in mind I am semi-retired. I don’t spend half my life on the phone anymore so my need for international deals on calls etc. is irrelevant.
So the point
Do you know what i miss? (And this is where you can tell I am old.....er) I miss the phone ringing and me picking it up and talking! I miss the "experience" of that way of answering and holding the phone.
So what to do
I tried Bluetooth earpieces I was unable to find on that you didn’t have to decipher a chinese puzzle when you answered the phone if there was one that sat in a holder and easily slipped on my ear and I could start talking Fine! But I haven’t found one yet
Or a way to connect my android or apple phone to a conventional phone hmmmm maybe I will look for that...............
I found this at Heathcote will let you all know how it goes
