Five days ago I installed linux for the first time in a decade.

yep. I think thats the way to go, everywhere you look there are more and more options for 3g data and usage, but you have to go on a plan to get it.

As mentioned earlier on, I was going offline to install ubuntu onto my main work machine - which I have.

and yet again it was the most trouble free, easiest install I have ever done.

For approximately 2.5 hours tonight, all of the suburbs of johnsonville and newlands, in Wellington New Zealand were completely without power.
