Even God is spamming me

I arrive at work today, to find that a New Zealand based evangelist is sending unsolicted prayer requests into my inbox!

Do you know how many Christians there are in the world? How bad would life be if even 1% of the followers of Christ were spreading the word via unsolicited email to me.

Our email server would die under the load, and we would miss out on the information we require to function as an education provider.

Regardless of what you believe in, or don't believe in for that matter (in terms of religion), spam is spam, and has a real negative impact on the ability of people to do their jobs.

This is not an anti-God, anti-Christian or anti-Religion post - its an anti-Spam post!

Name of the accused and his organisation withheld, unless he spams me again. Then I might sue god... no... wait... I think thats been done...

Hubby and I are christians, and we don't like most of the rubbish forwarded to us by friends who never bother to send us a 'hi, how are you'!  Do you/we count forwards as spam?

Pretty much. I get lots of forwards from a few people in particular, who never seem to actually stop and say "Hi" in their emails.

I recieve about 50 forwards a day, and I selectively send about 1 or 2 a week. I carefully choose who I am sending them to, and I normally include a note saying "Hi", and the significance of what I am forwarding.

I am seeing forwards for the 10th or more time (I have been on the internet for a long time), and most of this stuff is not new.

Stop the old, unfunny forwards I say!!!
