Doubt they ever will as its owned by Sky who would rather sell you MySkyHDi and HD ticket. Why would they let you watch HD for free when they can charge you?

Well they did it for free with the olympic games. VAST improvement it was too. Goes to show that they can do it when they want to so obviously the systems must be in place.

I am fairly sure that they still broadcast Prime in SD, (The back end content may have been from an HD source, but the transport stream was still SD from memory)

As long as programme makers offer programmes in SD cheaper than HD, Prime/Sky will buy and play them

Isn't Prime on the Kordia MUX??, which from memory now includes a proliferation of Asian TV and some other channels no one watches, So I am not sure there is any spare capacity even if Prime wanted to go HD

Considering that this is the Sky forum and not the Freeview forum, I'll have to go with "no" :)

There is an Igloo in the forum title, so that's sorta freeview......

Only on the Sky feed and not on the Freeview feed.

Not on Freeview Terrestrial they didn't.
It was only SD and no surround sound.
Plus due to all the ad breaks they were way behind real time before long.
So much for "Live" coverage.
