Just found out that the 'Fight for Life' is only available in HD to those that have already the HD ticket.  What a load of BS.  So i would have to pay $39.95 and then another $10 on top to see it in HD.  I'm sure they could of just done it in HD for everyone especially with the price so high.

SKY, you suck!!!

get a third party HD receiver and use your skycard in that, all the third party ones seem to get HD regardless of HD ticket or not. Im using a vu+duo myself.

Yes but I don't think that you can watch any of the pay per view or add-on channels though, can you (with a different decoder)?

You can watch any channel you subscribe to. Don't know about PPVs cos I have never tried one.

I'm pretty sure it's the card that decides if you have access to view it, so presuming you buy online or over the phone it should be fine (I assume that there's no STB channel upgrade ability on third party stuff)
