Government departments unable to call Skinny numbers?

I don't know how far this issue extends with regards to government departments but heres what's happening for me. Work & Income cannot call my Skinny 020 number on their landlines. Now these aren't blocked phones they can call 021, 022, 027 and 029 numbers pefectly OK. But not me on 020. I reported it to them and aparently it's Skinny or me... It's not me. Anyone else having issues with government departments / companies phone systems not been able to reach them on the Skinny 020 prefix? And Skinny if your looking at this do you have any further info to add?

It will be a issue with the A party PBX not Skinny, The PBX team need to open the number range 020* investigation / basic fault checking should always start on the A party network not B party you can't work backwards on a fault like this John Systems Engineer Vodafone NZ http://forum.vodafone.co.nz

Exactly , Work and Income should be the ones chasing it up, also the RVA's or lack of of will help point to where the issue will be, I will agree with John in that most likely the number range will not be live in the local system Yes I am a employee of WxC (My Profile) ... but I do have my own opinions as well

We have had this with a few places - PABX needs to be updated with the new number range. There are certain comms that we have sent out to PABX suppliers etc but it depends upon the administrators of the PABX doing the updates. I will call Work and Income and see if I can get to the right person. If you are onto them again then this is the range they need to setup: - 02040XXXXXX, 02041XXXXXX and 0204AXXXXX, where A is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9. cheers Paul.

But it's your fault the mobile number can't be called from overseas and when you ask what network , What carrier they have no idea and not willing to get the INFO and yelled at just fix it Systems Engineer Vodafone NZ http://forum.vodafone.co.nz

Thanks for the informative posts everyone. We'll have the skinny phone number ranges added for W&I /CYF/MSD/Studylink so our clients on skinny can be contacted via our phone systems. Regards Neal Ministry of Social Development

Changes have been completed for skinny call routing. Thanks for your initial post tritex We had the 10 digit Skinny range in the tables , but not the 11 digit Skinny ranges.

Great thanks for that, just interesting to note mine is a 10 digit number 020 444 00** so according to the above post should have been working anyway... Hope it means it will work anyway.
