The three Wgtn TX's are now live for testing on CH48,50 and 59
I've managed to get my GB-PVR box to find them but have had no luck seeing any video yet despite having an MPEG4 decoder installed (CoreAVC)

davidcole: Does that mean sbiddle, that you can test the dual functions of you HVR card? I think there'd be a few people interested inthe outcome on the geekzone and gbpvr forums.
Anything interesting on the test channels or are they staic pictures?
sub:
These h.264 directshow decoders arent as interchangeable as MPEG2 decoders, and need bit of specific work for each decoder your want to support in an application. I'll try to add support for other h.264 decoders in the near future.
If you do want to try other H.264 decoders, then you can edit the decoder name in the <PreferredH264VideoDecoder> setting in the config.xml file. Its default value is to use the Cyberlink H.264 decoder.
allstarnz: have you tried playing the footage back with VLC? Might be less CPU intensive.
As I recall the GB-PVR devloper 'Sub' lives in Wellington, perhaps you might want to post something on their forum on how to get the video up and running with GB-PVR

VLC actually chokes on the .ts files and won't play them (at least on my PVR I haven't tried on another machine)
sub is aware of the transmissions and has viewed them himself.
There actually isn't anything special that you need to do to view them. Providing you have PowerDVD Ultra installed you can scan for digital channels and things will work straight away. You can check if you have the CyberLink H.264 codec installed by running PowerDVD and seeing if there is a H.264 icon on the main screen of PowerDVD.
Currently there are a few short loops running, a SD channel showing netball and a few 1080i channels which look nice. After a couple of tweaks my playback is now as good as I will get on my motherboard. I purchased an Asus M2A-HDMI when they were brand new and they are a bit of a dog.. It does use a lot of CPU time and I do have an X2 4800 but obviously a video card with MPEG4 hardware should make things better. sub has just released a new version of GB-PVR today that does DXVA 2.0 which should speed things up with appropiate hardware.
