mattbush: Can NOT port from Skinny I have been told.

Was that someone from Telecom or someone from Skinny who told you this? Or somewhere else?

All telco's should allow the ability to inport and outport.

Was at telecom today...they tried for over an hour and then made a few calls and the answer was no go.

Porting from Skinny to Telecom was working four weeks ago, took alot of effort on Telecoms part but we sorted it in the end.

Porting from Skinny works.. I know as I have been through it and work with the Skinny folks on it.

All Losing Carriers have to honour the out-port request once they have validated the subscriber is who they say they are (either via account number or the IMSI on the sim).

Whoever said it couldn't be done was wrong.  If they have further issues feel free to email me pl at telecom dot co dot nz and I will sort it out.

I work for Telecom, but as always my views are my own.

It has finally been done...believe it or not after an hour in a telecom shop and two calls *123 a Philippino operator did it all with ease :)
