I'd be interested to know how many Geekzone users are on-line at any one time. Also information on how many active users there are (those who have say been on-line in the past month).

Perhaps an updated box that shows Geekzone:

Active Users
On-line Users
Guest Users

at any one time.

How many have visited the site is less interesting as many may only be one-time visitors. Many other sites have this kind of information so it is hopefully easy to obtain and show. It could even show how many are viewing each particular forum. Edit: To clarify I mean those viewing a Forum right now - it already shows those who have viewed in the past.

Would others find this information useful?

Interesting - yes, useful - not really.

We don't track what page people are looking at, so "how many people in a forum or topic" can't be done. We also don't have "sessions" like othe boards have, so anything like this would not have any meaningful reason...

As the saying goes: so sad, too bad!

I guess Geekzone has to have a little mystery.

It's not a mystery. It's just that the software we run doesn't have a provision for that.
