Interesting how you can get 5 gig of Mobile Broadband for only $39.00 a month across the ditch in OZ..
Same company and they probly pay the same for a data pipe as Vfone NZ does ?

http://www.vodafone.com.au/Personal/PricingPlans/VodafoneMobileBroadband/HowMuchDoesItCost/5GBMobileBroadband/index.htm

But you can't do data on prepay in OZ.
I found that out last Xmas during the big outage when I put my sons prepay card in my phone to try to do email etc and it was no go. I rang a Vfone CSR in Oz and they confirmed it, data was only on account in Oz.
Vodafone live worked on prepay, but who wants to use that anyway ..

Vodafone Aussie used to have mobile internet available at $1 per 5 minutes. This was for WAP + Internet usage if you tethered your phone. Is that no longer available?

Nothing on prepay that I could get going in OZ.
only Vfone live worked, There was a gateway in Vfone live to the net but it didn't work..

I ended connecting to my sons wireless router with my mobile
while I was there since Vfone roaming was down for my whole xmas holiday
