Just a further question here....

Right..  So anywhere we browse starting from Vodafone Live is free, unless it's stated clearly otherwise...  Such as bebo, it's free....

So, I was browsing Bebo today....  And hey, you can link into Videos from Bebo too!  Like say, search "linkin park", go into the group, and presto, there are videos there, which appear to be hosted on YouTube mobile.....  And no, no warning page that it's charged, etc...

And....  it's free as well???  Just to clarify!  If so, that's great!!

I wonder why they haven't put the message that says you're going to be charged like every other part of vodafone live.
Weird.

Bebo is free on Vodafone Live.

Facebook is free on Vodafone Live.

You Tube clips are free on Vodafone Live.

If you think you've been charged for it, ring 777 and explain it to them. We did have an issue a few weeks ago but that should be resolved so if you ARE able to prove you've been charged, you'll be refunded.

Bebo, Facebook and YouTube are free on Vodafone Live.

Cheers

Paul

They are!! thats awesome!!

Well ill have to go back and check now, if they still cost me (I last checked about a 2 weeks ago, but this was after the bebo billing was fixed, so I would of thought the you tube billing would be fixed too.)

Well I will see if it cost me or not, will report soon....

It's what's called a walled garden. They're unpopular but they have their place. We can control the content that's in them and we control the pricing...

But that's another thread.

Actually, I think from my understanding, and from what Paul (fr Vodafone) is saying....  Anything you roam starting from the Vodafone Live menu, unless clearly indicated, will be free.....  Aka, the "walled garden"....

So if we can somehow link through to Facebook from Vodafone Live Homepage, and nothing says anything contrary, it'll be free....

Which is GREAT!!!!  This is such a treat for Vodafone customers, I'm surprised they haven't really marketed this lately!

So in theory if I sent a comment to someone on bebo with a link to www.google.com I could go to the comment and click that link (if nothing comes up saying it costs) then loads Google.com that, that is Free..?

That would be interesting to see if it works... but I don't think it will.

Edit:
Me being me, I tested it out, and yes it does not work.
