Am currently downloading at the moment, from what Ive seen looks good, although im guessing it will look a bit weird of a 22" desktop without a touchscreen

The metro ui/ start menu is driving me nuts. Any way to disable it ?

Seems as if you can disable it, cant find any information saying how though or even if you can disable it in the preview build

downloading the 32 version now - plan on running it off USB to preview it.

Love how the download max's out my line speed - 1.8MB/s, cool!  If only all download servers had this much capacity (or is it locally cached?)

got the 32 bit version and tried to install in VMWare fusion on my mac but just get HAL errors. Have dug out an old pc and will fire it up on that to see what it is like.

I have a brand new HP Elitebook Tablet i plan to put the 64bit install on and see how it goes will report back once  it is up and go

How you planning to do that? The same tool linux uses?

Only going around 490-530 KB/s here, should be done in 30mins
