And they say that they're not selling the business, but the domain is an "optional extra" - which suggests they're going to try and setup under a different domain perhaps?
Has their service been so bad because they were planning on selling up, or are they selling up because business has been bad. Either way, the "new" website is pretty awful.

I don't get it.
In the auction description; "- Professionally designed website with over 16,000 products already added.(You can add unlimited number of products on the website)"
But the answer to a question "it's not business sale so the customer database still should be kept with C1. Thanks."
So for $30,000 you're getting a getting a database loaded with products, but since the business is not for sale I'm guessing distributor accounts etc are not included. What would be the point of buying this?

What would be the point of buying this? You are buying the software that the websites runs off, and the database to power it. So the $30k would buy you the website to allow you to start up your own online computer store. I've had a quick look and it does look like a custom site, I thought it may run off the shelf e-commerce software such as osCommerce or ZenCart but it doesn't seem to. Up to the buyer whether this software is work 30k.

I'm very tempted to put a smartass comment in the comments area considering it's been nearly two weeks and I've still not got my hard drive. But I'll hold myself back.

I actually did like their old website - far better than their new one, which doesn't actually work. I rated it quite highly. I wonder what the reason is behind them moving to a new design which doesn't work and is obviously giving them all sorts of grief with fulfilling orders. I'm sure there's a story behind that. It's probably not worth 30k for what you are actually getting, since there are many free generic options available, though for a custom job, if I was to create it, it'd probably cost about that in labour.

That's probably how they are pricing it, they are using what they paid for it to be developed.
