Both sides have been killing each other for over a decade now, what will it take for this to finally end? This does not end with Bin Ladens death, someone else will get promoted to 'No.1' and so the cycle continues. When will humans learn that killing, right down to the very last bad guy, is still killing and only serves to fuel rage and the desire for revenge in others. There is still a long, long way to go here.

Let's be realistic: Never. Not with the forces that have come to define the background for war being so strong.

Dratsab: It'll be interesting to see what the size and extent of backlashes will be and where they occur. Probably not quite so interesting for the people on the receiving end though.

Yeah I was wondering about that too.  I bet they'll start in Pakistan, since Obama repeatedly said "Pakistan's help was essential in leading the US to bin Laden".

From the sound of things Pakistan's help was essential in hiding bin Laden from the US.

The recently democraticaly elected goverment were probably freaking out if/when they found out. Not a nice position to be in when terrorists are regularly picking off the more liberal minded among them.

The previous goverment was more or less a military based dictatorship used to holding many cards and pulling many strings.

Interesting... Isn't it convenient he's now dead, instead of singing at Gitmo? I mean, he would be guy to know about the JFK cover up, the fake moon landing, the government involvement in 9/11, the fake birth certificate and Ken Ring predicting another earthquake in New Zealand...
