nzbullet: Run the fix as described above and you should be good to go. My understanding is that it fixes all GUI type file transfer systems, like iBrickr and iFuntastic.

Unfortunately I don't have Wi-Fi at home, hence the reason for using t-pot. I will try this at work tomorrow.

Just follow up comment on my apparent jailbreak problem, after installing Ziphone iBrickr Fix from i.unlock.no and now I have full access to iPhone file system with t-pot. It should also work with other apps which write/read to iPhone.

Btw great work nzbullet and piksel on starting this thread to local iPhone users.

My wifi update:

Holly crap - its working?!

I managed to find an unsecured network at work today so thought I would do a sneaky and try connect, it half connected at fiddled round without connecting properly.

Since then, came home and was going to play around with all the settings of my IP address etc on the phones settings - jumped on to my network to see how long it would hang for and IT WORKED!

Maybe like the other thread said it needed to connect to a standard network first before working on my adhoc - and sure enough it works.

Have downloaded the ibrickr fix, got iphonebrowser working and transfered all the files piksel and nzbullet kindly put together and I am up and running!!

What a relief - thank you to all who helped..

So pleased this is working..

Can anyone let me know how to safely delete the Zibri's blog icon please?

Can I just do the 'Wiggle' trick and delete it or will that freeze me up next restart?

I unlocked with 2.3 ziphone - is this fixed on the later versions as i know the earlier versions had trouble with it.

Press on the icon and keep it pressed for about three seconds, then icons will start to wiggle and with a close button will appear on the top of the icon.

You can also rearrange icons while they wiggle.

I am glad it's finally working for you. To remove the icon just press the icon for a few seconds until they start to wiggle. Then you can press the "x" button to delete it. You can also move your icons around as well

Great - I know about the wiggle and rearrangements its fantastic to have without the need for a 3rd party app.

Just wanted to check how I can delete that bloody Zibri without freezing up like some users have reported!

So its fine with ziphone 2.3?

Hey Daneger - 2.3 is all good for deleting the Zibri webclip. Zibri fixed the ownership issue on the WebClips folder in 2.2.

Great to hear you're sorted - I said it was the adhoc network didn't I :P

Quick question - someone mentioned earlier in this thread that it was "fantastic" that we don't have to Unlock our iPhones if we get signal before jailbreaking - why is this so? Should I re-do the process and not select unlock on Ziphone this time? cheers

This is only if you have the latest baseband (ie, 04.03.13) unlocked and then restore to firmware 1.1.3. If you have any older firmware such as 1.1.2, 1.1.1 and restoring to 1.1.3 then you will have to unlock again.

If you have run through the ZiPhone process and everything is working there is no need to do it again.

If you haven't and you are on 1.1.3 with baseband 04.03.13_G and you are going to go through the ZiPhone process, you will notice AFTER you have restored in iTunes (before you run ZiPhone) you have Voda service (as per the photo on page one).

If you see this then you shouldn't need to do the unlock part. If you don't see this then you definetly need to tick the unlock box as well. At the end of the day if you are already unlocked and you tick the unlock box it will make no difference, it will still do it's thing. If you don't tick it and you are not unlocked you will have to go through the whole process again (including the iTunes restore), or run Anysim 1.3 from installer.

Hope this makes sense

Hi ya,
I would like to make these VFNZ fixes happen, but when I use Total controller or iPhonebrowser to do this the only folders I can access are DCIM and iphone control.
Where are the system files located? Would be nice to know whos texting or ringing me haha!

See nzbullet's post here - you need to install the "Ziphone iBrickr Fix" from installer.

@nzbullet - I think your suggestion of adding this to the readme might have been a good idea after all

Here is a fix so you can access the files through iPhoneBrowser, Total Controller, iBrickr, iFuntastic etc
