And how about changing from naked dsl to next big thing? When I last called the CSR said I would have to pay a new telecom install and then move that to next big thing, and then close the naked connection, which is not acceptable to me to be paying over $100 in costs to telecom. Also since both pairs in the cable that goes to the house are in use it would be a nightmare to coordinate the installs. Richard rich.ms

How's the "Free Downloading between 1am and 7am" going to work? surely that'll be capped to nz only or really slow speeds so people can't take advantage via torrents etc.

Well I wouldn't know as I'm on Telstra Cable. I've never used slingshot and was more concerned with what sort of speeds would be avaliable during those 1am-7am periods and whether they cap people downloading a lot of content. {MOD EDIT : SP : Removed unnecessary slander. Address the subject rather than attack the poster in the future.}

yeah my comments directly after the question mentioning caps and speed. why do poeple like you have to be so rude when all i want to know is if there's a cap involved or speed restrictions?

If I was in the second one, it was because I "joined in".
