I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere before but for any who are interested Kies now has a firmware update for 2degrees-branded Galaxy S2 phones to ICS 4.0.3

Was on Gingerbread 2.3.4 KI5/KI1/KG2 now on LP7/LPS/LP1 4.0.3

In addition the new firmware now looks like it can do OTA Over The Air updates from now onwards. The Gingerbread version looked like it would but it required a Samsung Account so never bothered. On 4.0.3 it doesn't ask for an account just a country so it may work if updates are actually released.
