OK, sorry for any confusion. Just to confirm the vouchers have to be used within 6 months of purchase (not 1, 4 or 12).

Once topped-up the credit is valid for 1 year.

Cheers

Rats. Oh well, I might still buy a few - thinking of moving my son to 2D also so the whole family would be on 2D

I just asked them this question and they said "next week".  I didn't push with "will you have it Monday".

They said they would have a live demo we could play with too Laughing

2 for 1 topups also restart again tomorrow (29-31 October)

Yes, the flyer I was given in the shop says topup in store between 29-31 October and we'll double it.

They also have a bunch of phones heavily discounted tomorrow from 10.30.

Has anyone been, know what they are? A friend went but he said the place was packed with a huge queue so he didn't go in.

Hi, it's pretty busy down there, about 200 outside before the store opened.

Just to let you know, if you wanted to have a play with the new Huawei Ideos you can check it out in the store today.

Cheers!

Will they have microSIMs there? I want to move an iPhone to 2D before the signup deal expires.

The 2D stores don't have them atm but Dick Smith will. I've just called the Featherstone branch and they have them in stock.

Cheers

I was hoping they would have it early.  Looks like I'll have to pop over when the crowd goes.  Looks like those $2 phones brought in a bunch of new customers for you.

They've probably all gone now but they were all 2G phones and from memory the prices were $2, $39 and $99.  Normal price claimed to be up to $279 or something.  The $2 phone was a $279 Nokia that I've seen for $250 elsewhere so a really good deal if you've got the time to sit and queue to buy.

No that your store is open, is there still the requirement to have a drivers licence to go on pay monthly? It was earlier mentioned that the requirement for a drivers licence was to enable the online verification of who you were for a credit check. Now that you have a store, do you still need a drivers licence to sign up, or, is some other form of ID acceptable?
