Just seen this on website, $19 for 30 mins talk, 2000 texts and 50Mb data, answers a lot of the calls for a low usage monthly plan

it would be really interesting to see consumer or a geekzoner do a cost comparison between networks with all the new plans on the market now. the last ones i remember being done were for the last iPhone launch and working out who had the best plans for iPhone.

Just saw it too
seems good
The package value is equivalent to a monthly $20 top up for me I would say,
but the package is a really good deal for people with smart phones and txt alot.

That is a wicked plan, will likely shift over from my standard $10 text package which is probably just what the marketers want :P

That is astonishingly good value. I would almost save money paying the early termination fees on my Vodafone account.

It's getting harder and harder to say no to 2Degrees! Just wish my friends would make the shift so that they won't have to pay extra to text a 2Degrees number.

Does anyone know what the 2 Degrees 3G coverage is like in Christchurch at the moment. I haven't been able to access the Vodafone 3G network since the earthquake. This is a seriously good deal....

why would they have to pay extra?  XT and Voda both have anynet txt bundles that give you 2500 txts for $12.

$360 to break out of our 2 contracts but we would save $400 by switching to this plan.

Is your area in christchurch listed here:

http://forum.vodafone.co.nz/topic/7333-canterbury-earthquake-network-status/

If your area is not listed you should contact vodafone to report a loss on 3g in your street. If they don't know they can't fix it.

I will let them know. I'm not worried about it however clearly there is a lot of infrastructure damage.

If this plan was on Vodafone NZ they would promote it with a T-shirt printed with the words:

"I gave another mobile operator in NZ $432.70 and all I got was what was in the $19 Prepay Combo Pack!"
