What is the source of this information? I see no announcement from 2degrees about this...

done the reading
but only data and txt combo???
this is probably not the full story
there is no way the new combo is going to compete with others unless there are 3 new $19 combo.

1. txt - the old $19 combo - 50mb, 2500 txt, 30 min
2. data - the new 300mb, 300 txt, 30 min
3. voice ???

I am only guessing there should be a third category
some combo with more calling minutes.

Nice plan.

How long would that allowance last for? 1 month or until you need more?

I was only told of the two packs detailed in the article

@trig, I assume that will stay the same, so youll have to suffer for a few days until it recurs

Number 2 is is a very good plan .. Telecom's TalkTextData for $20 is similar  with  is less voice and more text and 200Meg data. I guess it's swings and roundabouts depending where your pioritys are..

It's lucky that telecom extended my smartphone double plan till march, because changing to 2degrees was on the cards and this would have been rather tempting (though the phone lacks 900mhz 3g).

I would say skinny's new plan trumps this if you can spend an extra $13.

$32 = 160 min | 400 txt | 530 mb

Agreed. That's what I want.

Something like 30mins talk, 100 texts, and 20MB data a month would do me at home.
The new $19.00 pack would do me for travelling.

+1 on that

I no expert, but at a guess, I would say that the company that brings something like that in would make a killing... - People would be jumping ship from every one else to get to it. :)
