Haha I managed almost nothing :(

My port died again the next morning and won't be fixed for 24-48 hours(as it's been confirmed to be a physical port problem)

So I missed most of the free weekend. Oh well, always next year

Wow, I thought I was doing pretty good getting 310 gigs. I hope they'll be upgrading my area to VDSL soon. :)

This seems to be the standard response from anyone using large quantities of data...

Just goes to show what we can really do if we don't have to worry about caps tho doesn't it :)

Maybe snap could take these results on board and think about dropping their cap prices, some of us "may" just raise our caps if something like that happened Tongue Out

I got around 80GB of Linux .iso's.
My only limitations were finding more stuff that I actually wanted and mostly, lack of storage space on my end.

I downloaded just under 40Gb and am a very happy camper. I did manual downloads of all the updates, hotfixes etc for Windows 7 so I can install these from HD without eating into my bandwidth when I change my OS over onto SSD. I keep a "download at end of month if I have bandwidth available" file and managed to clear it.

Speed was really good & I didn't notice any latency issues. Things seem to have slowed down a bit since the weekend though so whatever you guys at Snap did to get good throughput over the weekend please put it back for normal use.

Thanks Snap for a really good weekend.

Snap AYCE weekend seems to be an all-over success.  Our probes performed great, reporting every hour apart from a small number of probes where the volunteers were maximising the value they get from a free data weekend  - their probes did not have time to report due to "network activity"

Our data is now published here - https://www.truenet.co.nz/articles/snap-weekend-almost-flawless

www.truenet.co.nz

We are seeking more volunteers here :-)
