Since the internet is generally used for two things 1) complaining and 2) adult entertainment, I thought I'd contribute a rarity: praise.

Well done to Xnet for a seamless transition of my ADSL and Vfx service from one town to another. It was working last night when I left city 'a' and was up and running as soon as I plugged evything in this afternoon in city 'b'.

Thanks for the very easy move - it's a chore to be without internet and phone in this day and age! I have to confess I was expecting some sort of delay or switch over problem (as a result of shocking experiences with Telecom several years back). Either NZ is generally improving in terms of service and telco portability and/or Xnet really is top notch.

Cheers from a happy customer!!

ps oh yeah, the 40GB for $79 plan is a nice upgrade too.

This.

The staff are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, be it tech support, or sales. I've only ever had one time where things didn't go to plan, and that was earlier this week, where a transition to a new plan didn't properly complete. About 1 minute on the phone to them (Ray, I think) and it was sorted 100%.
