Nokia's latest release is the Nokia 6600. The 6600 is targeted towards the business user and includes a 65K colour screen (which is lacking on the 3650), triband functionality (GSM 900/1800/1900), VGA camera and a video recorder.
The 6600 includes GPRS, Bluetooth, and infrared. The builint software includes integrated email client, SSL security, mobile VPN client and advanced XHTML client. The Nokia wallet application has also been included, allowing online mobile payments and the storage of personal information in a secure format.
The 6600 is based on the second edition of the Nokia Series 60 platform (the first edition was used in the 7650 and 3650 smartphones) and will use the Symbian 7.0s operating system. Users will be able to install applications for the Symbian operating system, or by using the newly updated Java MIDP 2.0 technology. The phone will have 6MB of internal memory and a 32MB MMC card will also be included.
