Prizes will be awarded for the best three applications in both Australia and New Zealand with the overall winner selected from these six finalists. Prizes include international travel, state of the art mobile phones or devices and access to expert advice to get your application to market.
All six finalists will receive:
Two Sony Ericsson mobile phones or equivalent devices to enable them to develop and demonstrate their application on the latest device. Each device is valued at approximately AUD$1500.
Free membership and consulting from Ericsson’s Mobility World developer program which has a maximum value of AUD$5,000.
The opportunity to present in front of the top telecommunications decision makers in Australia and New Zealand at the judging day on Tuesday 16th September 2003.
In addition to the above prizes, the overall winner will receive:
Return business class air travel for one person to a Global Industry event as agreed to by Ericsson. This prize is valued at approximately AUD$15,000 and shall include one return business class airfare, seven days accommodation and AUD$2000 spending money.
The winner will also have access to Ericsson’s portfolio of technical, sales & marketing, and professional services to help make their solution a commercial reality.
