Sony to introduce one of the most revolutionary designs for Palm devices
Sony Japan's website shows details about this new device, with integrated Bluetooth and 802.11b wireless networking capabilities. Clie Mail and Access NetFront v3.0 for Clie web browser are part of this package.

The basic specs are:

  • Palm OS 5.2
  • ARM 926 processor
  • CSD2230GA graphics
  • 16MB RAM
  • Magnesium alloy body
  • twist-flip screen, allowing the use as a laptop

No doubts one big step for Palm OS powered devices, and Sony shows how aggresive they are in the design and implementation of new products (again).

It'll be in Japanese stores by 9/Aug.The initial price will be around US$590, but there's no indication on when it'll be available outside Japan.
