The unique Fujifilm X20 premium compact camera is being introduced as the successor to the X10, bringing high-precision lens and refined design, while offering significantly improved performance and the latest Fujifilm technology.
Available in hues of black and two-tone black and silver, the Fujifilm X20’s new and improved features include an X-Trans CMOS II sensor, EXR Processor II and the newly-developed Advanced Optical Viewfinder.
With a new Digital Trans Panel that displays your shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focusing area and other shooting information perfectly clearly, even in low-light conditions, the new Fujifilm X20 bright optical viewfinder also links with your zoom lens, allowing you to accurately compose shots using the viewfinder even when your focal length is constantly changing.
To ensure the capture of high resolution images the X20’s newly-developed 12 megapixels 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor and EXR Processor increase resolution by approximately 20% and reduce noise by more than 30% when compared to the previous Fujifilm X10 model. With the removal of the optical low pass filter and a powerful processor, the Fujifilm X20 produces super-clear images with minimal graininess even at high ISO settings.
The X-Trans CMOS II sensor also boasts built-in Phase Detection pixels, giving you high-speed AF in as little as 0.06 seconds, while the EXR Processor II offers fast response with a start-up time of only approx. 0.5 seconds, a shutter time lag of 0.01 seconds and a shooting interval of 0.5 seconds providing advanced flexibility.
The new Fujifilm X20 has an RRP of NZ$ 999 and is available now from photo retail stores.
