Greenlight Wireless Corporation announced the release of Skweezer™ version 1.2, which includes new features developed in response to extensive user feedback.
Skweezer is a service that allows PDA and SmartPhone users to dynamically reformat large-screen Web content for use on small-screen displays. The new features and functionality found in version 1.2 address two primary requests from Skweezer users: to increase page loading speeds and to provide greater control over the Wireless Web browsing experience.
Skweezer 1.2 utilizes new caching protocols and includes other improvements to its core optimization technology that provide faster access to Web content. The new version allows users greater control over the wireless browsing experience by offering additional user interface preferences and more control over cookies through the integrated smartCookie utility. Skweezer 1.2 also includes improved handling of "session information," which is an integral part of online shopping and Web sites that require user validation.
Additional Skweezer Home Page functionality:
Optional text-based toolbars
More preferences for content handling and customizing your Skweezer interface
Improved handling of "session information" while browsing the Wireless Web
Enhanced caching technology that increases page loading speeds
Additional login security protocols
Because Skweezer functionality is server dependent, current users of this service do not need to update any software: everything is done for them on the server.
