Xero for Dummies to help clients use Xero online platform
Posted on 1-Jul-2013 13:19 | Tags Filed under: News

Online accounting solution provider Xero and Wiley Publishing have announced the launch of Xero for Dummies, a new book authored by experienced Xero advisor Heather Smith and designed to help users quickly maximise their investment in using Xero’s cloud accounting platform.

Xero for Dummies provides a comprehensive introduction to Xero and guides readers step-by-step through specific topics, in an easy-to-understand format. Using this book, readers can quickly get started with the basics, from setting up an accounting system to more detailed operations, such as maximising revenue, profits and cash flow.

Xero For Dummies also offers key advice on topics including switching over from another accounting software, setting up customers and suppliers, dealing with multi-currency transactions, using Xero's dashboards and robust reporting capabilities, and much more.

“We are proud to partner with Xero on this project”, said Maria Hendriks, General Manager for Professional Development at Wiley. “Xero’s rapid growth and pioneering approach to accounting software meant that we jumped at the opportunity to publish Xero For Dummies. We see this title as a strong asset to the For Dummies portfolio and are confident that it will complement Xero’s great work around the world”.

“Xero For Dummies is a superb easy-to-read reference – even suitable for those who haven’t yet made the switch to online accounting,” says Sue Pak, Xero Global Product Training Manager. “We know that everyone learns differently and while we offer video tutorials, webinars, comprehensive help, even training partners for personal assistance, some people prefer to reference a printed book."
