The Wearaphone is the first publically available wearable technology product from Orange. Developed by Clothing+ with OrangeImagineering, the Wearaphone is a shoulder bag which you can use as a complete interface to your phone.
Simply plug your phone into a pocket on the Wearaphone, and you're able to make and receive calls using the speaker and microphone integrated into the bag. Unlike a normal hands-free kit, there's no need for awkward and delicate headphones.
The Wearaphone is a robust and simple way to use your phone during outdoor activities like cycling, snowboarding or climbing. The tag used for making and receiving calls is easy to use with gloves on, and the simple, tactile interface doesn't distract you in the same way as using a phone directly would.
Wearaphones will be available in limited numbers from Orange Shops in time for this Christmas.
