New Zealand-based comparison website PriceMe have just announced the launch of the latest version of their shopping app for iPhone users. With a smarter-looking UI and some nifty features, this latest version should make comparison shopping on-the-fly a real breeze !
The fast-loading app features easy-to-use product filters for quickly finding the right product as well as Google Maps for shoppers looking to locate the nearest physical store and its exact distance from your current location.
There’s also helpful product reviews and specs similar to what you see on the desktop version of PriceMe, and easy bookmarking and management of your favourite products. The app seems to render particularly well when used on an iPad.
Techies may be interested to know the new app is built on the Xamarin mobile development platform, enabling PriceMe to leverage cross-browser development for when they migrate their current Android app to this platform in the near future.
Like the previous PriceMe iPhone app, this updated version is still free and available from the iTunes App Store.
