The reviewer is impressed but declared "The Palm-based Clié PEG-UX50 is handsome, innovative, powerful, and expensive".
No kidding: US$ 699 for a PDA. But this is not any PDA. It's a Sony Clie, and Sony's proved before how well they know their market, by bringing a continuous flow of new models and features.
The latest one, the PEG-UX50 is really different. With a design that's more like a laptop than a PDA, a built-in camera and a great high-resolution screen, it can handle multimedia functions such as music, photos and videos with ease. This model also includes built-in, high-speed Wi-Fi wireless networking for e-mail and Web browsing. Bluetooth wireless connectivity for linking up to a wireless phone when it's not near a Wi-Fi transmitter is also available.
