MessagEase device independent text entry software shown at DEMOMobile 2003
ExIdeas announced the availability of its text entry technology, MessagEase for mobile devices, at DEMOmobile 2003 held in La Jolla, California. MessagEase makes text entry on small devices faster and easier.

MessagEase allows for rapid implementation on any cell phone without changing form factors. It is size and language independent and provides a fast, intuitive, and readily-applicable solution for any mobile device, including Palm OS and Pocket PC PDAs. "MessagEase technology has had tremendous success with our early adopters' group. More than 90% of our users preferred to continue with MessagEase and not go back to the conventional text entry method only after one day of use," said Saied Nesbat, Ph.D., President and CEO of ExIdeas. "As the mobile devices converge, text entry becomes a more acute problem. MessagEase provides the ideal device- and language-independent solution."

"I have been impressed by the intuitiveness and ease of use of MessagEase and how it speeds up text entry on a cell phone," said Chris Shipley, producer of DEMOmobile 2003. "After working with it for just a few minutes, it was obvious to me that MessagEase is much faster than the text entry in use on cell phones today."
