Official now: Nokia completed Sega.com transaction

Announced 19th August the transaction had to go through approvals, but Nokia just issued a press release confirming the transaction is now completed. Sega.com is the on-line gaming platform for the Nokia N-Gage.

On that date Nokia announced its intention to acquire assets of Sega.com, a subsidiary of Sega, the game developers. The agreement helps Nokia to offer online games and services for the Nokia N-Gage game deck, as Sega.com's multiplayer technology will become an integral part of the Nokia N-Gage experience. Nokia announced today that this acquisition was completed on 16th September.
